This excerpt is from the performance of “PORO OYNA: The Myth of Aynu”. The production was a new multidisciplinary shadow theatre work bringing the mythology of the Aynu (also commonly spelled as “Ainu”) tribe of Hokkaido, Japan, to life on stage.
The video is a document of the performance that inter-cuts between the actual performance and the behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the performance.
